The Chenille’s

061

Don’t they look like they’re about ready to burst into song?

Sometimes I just need to put the mohair aside for a while and work with fabric.

I received a request a few weeks ago from a woman who was interested in having me create a teddy bear from her vintage chenille bedspread.

Although she did not follow up on the information I sent her, I got excited about creating chenille bears from purchased chenille.

You’ve met Miss Vanilla in a previous post, and I decided to introduce you to the rest of the gang.

I know there is a bear in the picture that is not featured as an individual here.

She is special and somewhat of a secret, so mums the word for now.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Spring!

Hugs from Vicki and the Chenille’s

Your chenille bears are just adorable, with the added bonus of being extra cuddly soft!! I imagine it's different working with the various fabrics and furs, and you do a great job no matter what you're using.

    Cheers,

Hi Debora... thank you! For stopping by. It is kind of amazing isn't it what one can do with fabric. I agree, it does simulate fur :) Take care. Vicki
