Don’t they look like they’re about ready to burst into song?
Sometimes I just need to put the mohair aside for a while and work with fabric.
I received a request a few weeks ago from a woman who was interested in having me create a teddy bear from her vintage chenille bedspread.
Although she did not follow up on the information I sent her, I got excited about creating chenille bears from purchased chenille.
You’ve met Miss Vanilla in a previous post, and I decided to introduce you to the rest of the gang.
I know there is a bear in the picture that is not featured as an individual here.
She is special and somewhat of a secret, so mums the word for now.
Hope you are all having a wonderful Spring!

ReplyDeleteYour chenille bears are just adorable, with the added bonus of being extra cuddly soft!! I imagine it's different working with the various fabrics and furs, and you do a great job no matter what you're using.
Cheers,
Tracy
Very cute! I love how the chenille simulates fur.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy.. yes, it is fun trying different fabrics and seeing what they turn into. Hope all is well with you and thanks! Vicki
ReplyDeleteHi Debora... thank you! For stopping by. It is kind of amazing isn't it what one can do with fabric. I agree, it does simulate fur :) Take care. Vicki
